My name is Lendel Stanley. When my children were little I had a licensed Day Care for 5 years. Then I attended college and graduated with an AA in ECE and taught for 10 years at Valley Christian Center. I changed careers and bought a science and educational store where I continued to teach in the store. Then I went into a kids publishing business. Later I decided to stay home and watch my grandchildren. It was then that I realized where my talents were and decided to go back into Child Care. In addition to taking classes to refresh myself on the methods of teaching, I am the president for VFCCA where I do my best to teach and mentor others.I  really enjoy working with the children and look forward to each new day. I hope I can give them just a little bit of what they give me.

Addie teaches the toddler program where she enjoys watching each new accomplishment.  I teach the K-4.  I taught in a pre-school in Dublin and decided to go into Home Day Care because I felt a family surrounding was important for the children and also I wanted to work in smaller groups, allowing more individual attention. We have time to do all the learning activities of a big pre-school but the children can take in more because of the small class ratio. I also enjoy seeing how quickly a 4 year olds learns new things that are introduced  to them. 

Vivian works with the babies and enjoys how quickly they learn new things. She challenges them with small and large motor skills.

Our Business

I have been in this business for over 30 years. I pride myself in the small group ratios and individual attention that the children get. I test the children periodically and send home evaluation reports so we know what areas in your childs development need to be worked on.

I value each child and do my best to treat them with Love and respect. Each parent is also important to me and I do my best to have a team effort in the care of your children.

 Our Little Ones

(0-2) yr. old

We have a planned program for the infants.They also have lots of interaction with the adults and children, along with stimulating toys. We read stories and do fingerplays and art. I also do music and work on large as well as small motor skills. Cooking and tasting activities are encouraged to stimulate some of the senses.

The older children enjoy playing

with the younger children and we have a real family environment. The older children learn to share and help others. This also builds their self-esteem and they seem to enjoy interacting with the little ones.

During music time all ages participate in music, beanbag songs, fingerplays, singing and puppets.

Children 2-1/2-5 yr. old

Children are eager learners. At

Kids Learning Home, children at this age are seperated for their school time. The children are  taught a structured program. This includes phonics, abc's, reading,listening skills, math, science, music etc. We also offer a pre-k4 class (extra charge for books). Where many of them learn to read before kindergarten.The children are given opportunities to learn and discover by themselves through varied manipulative toys, dramatic play area,puppets etc. The children are taught manners and respect for others. We also do a weekly Bible Story and pray before meals.
